Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is investing heavily and buying real estate properties in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Ever since the holy bhoomi pujan of Ram Mandir last year, there have been reports of him investing crores of rupees. Now according to a report, Amitabh Bachchan, popularly known as Big B, has bought another piece of land in Ayodhya and its price is said to be around Rs 40 crore.

Amitabh’s fourth property in Ayodhya!
Amitabh Bachchan has bought another plot in Ayodhya city. According to the report published in Business Today, this is his fourth property in Ayodhya, which is a plot of 25000 square feet.It is being said that the Bollywood actor has bought it for a whopping price of Rs 40 crores. Earlier, after the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Temple, he has purchased many other real estate properties in Ayodhya.
Taking a look at Amitabh Bachchan’s three other properties in Ayodhya, there is a 10,000 sq ft plot in ‘The Saryu’ project (worth Rs 14.5 crore), a 5,372 sq ft plot in Haveli Awadh (worth Rs 4.54 crore) and a 54,000 sq ft plot registered under the Harivansh Rai Bachchan Trust, located around 10 km from the Ayodhya Ram Temple and meant for a memorial dedicated to his father, the late poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan.

Land prices in Ayodhya are continuously increasing
After the consecration of Ram Mandir, while the influx of devotees in Ayodhya has increased rapidly, the land prices have also started skyrocketing. There has been a huge boom in real estate in Ayodhya, which is making its mark as the spiritual capital.
Here land prices (Ayodhya Property Rates) have increased at the rate of 19 percent CAGR and this rate can reach 25 percent in the next 10 years. In Saryu, River Front and Ram Mandir Corridor areas, land prices have increased five times in the last five years. With the expansion of road, rail connectivity and airports, there has been a boom in real estate.
Bachchan family’s big investment in real estate
Not only Ayodhya, the investment of Amitabh Bachchan and his family in the real estate sector is continuously increasing. He has also invested a lot of money in Mumbai in the recent past. According to reports, Amitabh Bachchan along with his son Abhishek Bachchan bought 10 apartments last year.
Their price was said to be Rs 24.95 crore and these flats are located in Mulund West area of Mumbai. These include 3 and 4BHK apartments and each flat has 2 parking spaces available. It was told that out of these 10 flats, six have been bought by Abhishek and 4 by Amitabh Bachchan.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has made big investments not only in real estate but also in many other sectors. These include stock market and startup investments. He has invested in land from Mumbai to Ayodhya, while he has also made big bets in the shares of other companies including Shri Lotus Developers, Swiggy.
He is also earning huge profits from investments and property sales and this can be gauged from the fact that earlier this year i.e. in January 2025, Amitabh Bachchan sold his duplex apartment in Crystal Group’s residential project ‘The Atlantis’ in Oshiwara, Mumbai for Rs 83 crore and earned Rs 52 crore, as he had bought this property in April 2021 for Rs 31 crore.
